Yup. You have to assume that the Ampro numbers are about 5x higher then they should be. Nothing stopping someone from registering 5 times and voting 5 times. Smile

No way! I'm watching an Ampro 2000 right now. Just bought a 4200 for an upgrade. Before the 2000 I had an Esprit (may as well have been an Ampro) 535/1500 that wore out four sets of tubes from 1988 to 2005.

The reason that the number of Ampro owners is so low is because,we are watching and using ours Very Happy while the rest of you are on the forums trying to get answers on how to fix yours Twisted Evil

Barco 1209. It used to be a Barco 1208 but I upgraded the tubes to 9". The LC hardware and tubes were Ampro but everything else is Barco.

I also own but don't use BD808, BG808, BG808s, and Marquee 8000. They are sitting in the storage room to use as spares in case I have any downtime with the 1209.

Regular use: Sony 1270/1252 (made one good projector out of 2 broken)
Others: Sony KP-5000, Nec 9pg Extra, Zenith 885P, Barco RetroGraphics 801s

Planning on selling all but the Nec, and then set up the Nec for main use. I'll probably keep the KP-5000 for kicks though.

NEC XG110 non LC model. Plain 6PG with toasted green tube but in great condition otherwise. The XG is on the ceiling and I'm using a 108x61 laminate screen.

Geeze, when I posted my projector just 15 months ago, I still had my XG852. Since then I've had a Dwin HD700, a Marquee 8500 upgraded with HD145's, and a Sony G70. Smile The G70 is currently on the ceiling until I finish some mods to the 8500, then the 8500 goes back on the ceiling to stay. (Famous last words. Laughing)
