I have a Dwin hd700. It started cutting off when used for a long period of time and sceen would begin to flicker a little bit. After cooling off it would work again. Now it does not work at all. When turned on you can see a flicker of light on the top right corner of projector and then it is dead. The bulbs on the projector show no signs of going on when turned on. Now with Dwin out of business I don't know what to do. I live in Atlanta and if anyone can help me please email me at dseebohm@yahoo.com

The key is to look at the front green LED once the projector has been on for a few seconds. If it's flashing quickly, then there's an overload condition on the power supply, and that problem is usually right within the supply itself. IT's easy to pull out of the set, you can then send it to me and I can test/repair it.

There's really no one else repairing DWIN that I know of. I've got lots of spare parts for both the 500 and 700 projector though.

Cheers!
Curt

Curt, What do you charge to fix the power supply. Is it worth fixing it since the projector is old. Derrick

Yes, it's a good projector. It's a flat rate of $250 incl return shipping.

Cheers!
