OK I started this project 5 months ago but got laid off so everything went to pieces. Now I'm starting it again. OK All I want to do is set this thing up for a 100 inch screen. It's currently set for 120. I do not need to center the raster. The manual shows how to focus. Is this done first before I converge? And I should be able to converge electronically right?

Yes, focus first.

Actually, if you're going to do it, electronic astig first, then focus, then setup.

Zero out your static convergence settings, leave green static convergence zeroed, then mechanically match blue and red center to the green. IF you can do this, and NOT use any static convergence on blue and red to match green, you'll have a much more stable convergence. Always work from the center out when doing convergence.

For an NEC, it is useful to use a pattern which comes from the actual source you're setting up...
