I've been running 3D on my XG for a couple weeks with a NVidia 3D vision @120Hz...IMO you need will need more than Moome...You should also plan a Da-lite High Power Screen. A CRT is just not bright enough to overcome handicap caused by the shutter glasses. I'm not really sure the HP screen will even do the trick.

u need either Moome EXT V3 or HDFURY 3, Moome V2 doesn't support HDMI1.4 and 3D.

Mike | Hi Mike, could you kindly explain how your setup looks in detail. Thanks Udo

I'm current running 1280p@120Hz (119.88) with a custom resolution setup with the Nvidia driver. For Glasses I use nVidia GeForce Wireless 3D Stereo Glasses Kit with Emitter..
There are actually 2 issues with the image. First it's on the darker side and lacks punch. It would be like turning the brightness and contrast down to 50 from where I have it normally set at 70 for each. There is a small amount of ghosting but mostly only noticeable in the corners of the screen, I'm not sure why that is. The ghosting is probably tolerable but dark image is fatiguing. You could run higher brightness and contrast but then blooming becomes an issue along with accelerated wear on the tubes.
Now I'm not sure if a high power screen would help any of the above issues. I do have a cheap Acer 3D DLP on order that should be in tomorrow. I've hear they suck for 2D however they produce a nice 3D image but that remains to be seen.
One side note I currently am using the same 720p@120Hz for my 2D material and have gotten very used to smooth image it produces at the higher refresh rate, and surprisingly I don't notice the lack of resolution from 1080p. In the past I've tired 720p but only at 72Hz refresh and the results were not as good as Im currently seeing, mainly because I was able to see scan lines at about 1X width from the screen. The high refresh rate seems to solve that issue becuse of the bandwidth required tightends up the scan lines.

Hi Mike, may I ask what graphics card you are using and if you use directly the analog out of this graphics card to feed your projector. Furthermore is your setup working with 3D Blu-ray or just with PC games? If it works with Blu-ray, what software are you using? I apologize for so many questions, but I rather like to learn from your experiences.
Thanks
Udo
