Does anyone have an LD100-U manual?

I need to know the specifics about what the Operate/Bypass button does? What exactly does it bypass?

The LD100 has a "Digital Filter" button instead of an Operate/Bypass button and the instruction manual that is available on the web (for LD100/LD100U) doesn't mention the Operate/Bypass button.
