The problem now is that it will not show any test patterns. It will go through the set up procedure on the LCD readout on the remote and will show all pages of text and video but no test patterns. Any ideas?

Yea, I got a great idea. Now what was that idea????? Oh, now I remember. I have a fully functional 4000G here for free. All you need to do is pick it up. You'll need to rob the green tube out of the other one though. The tube Curt sent me a year and a half ago still hasn't got here yet

Sorry, missed this. Check the blanking settings in the test pattern mode. THey have a different memory location than the regular channels, and if the unit glitched, the blanking can be maxed on the test patterns so you get no output.
