well, as far as i can tell the bd is fine.
the ts-160 when it is in 1080i mode gives a unbelievable picture for about 60-70 seconds then flashes blank and comes back on.
thr pj asked if i wanted to save this new setting it recognized. so i did.

sorry so long on reply, it was 1 am here when i finally turned in. I DO SEEM TO HAVE a good picture on the bd although i really need to watch it awhile longer to be sure. THE TS-160 TUNER is another story it will give me a great picture in 1080i mode for about 60 seconds then it will flash blank and come back on and repeat this process over and over. it will hold a picture in 720 mode but the 1080 is soooooo much better i dream about watching football on that screen in 1080i.

Hey, Jeff... Sorry, but I deleted your other two posts relating this one issue... The multiple posts don't really serve any purpose, they litter the forum, and more importantly, anybody who might contribute to helping solve your problem loses all the history.
OK, back to the Samsung...That OTA receiver definitely isn't capable of outputting 24fps - nothing did at that time.
How's it connected to your projector? DVI-HDMI to Fury 3 to projector?

OK, so the BD player works fine now, but the Samsung OTA receiver still doesn't? Hmmm... That is weird.
So, do you know which one of the things Jeremy had you try corrected the situation with the BD player?
Also, when the picture is flashing on and off, is the blue light on the HD Fury doing anything?

THE BD HDMI CABLE WAS LOOSE.
THE 160 ACTS LIKE IT IS TRYING TO HANDSHAKE WITH THE FURY 3
F3 FLASHES CONSTANTLY

WELLYOU ARE NOT GONNA BELIEVE THIS. I OPENED THE COVER ON THE FURY 3 TURNED 1 AND 2 OFF THEN TURNED 1 BACK ON AND PRESTO ! 1080I WHAT A PICTURE! I SAT IN AMAZEMENT FOR 30 MINS GOING THROUGH THE CHANNELS NOT BELIEVING MY EYES. THEN I GOT THE BRIGHT IDEA TO SEE IF THE BD WOULD STILL WORK.(IT DID) WOW I THOUGHT HOW COOL IS THIS. THEN I CHANGED THE MONOBOX SWITCHER BACK TO THE TS-160 AND IT WAS RIGHT BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE , FLASHING IN AND OUT.WHAAAAATTTTT THE . ANYWAY I WENT BACK TO THE BD IT WAS STILL WORKING FINE. SO I TURNED OFF THE BD FLIPPED THE 2 DIPSWITHES AND THEN FLIPPED THEM BACK IN THE SAME SEQUENCE AS BEFORE AND PRESTO 1080I TV. AS LONG AS I ONLY WATCH TV ITS OK BUT I GOT A FEELING IM GONNA WEAR OUT THOSE LITTLE SWITHES.
