problem after doing the faint line tech bulletin.

after doing this tb to my vim the raster that is not used lights up faint. (not the grid but the raster)
i used 1.5Mohm just like in the tb.

I think that's normal. I had to set my brightness much lower after doing the faint-line fix.

so you mean that for instance with a setting of 30 i get the same brightness as 50 after the mod.

Yes, that is normal. I use 2.2m resistors on my latest VIM mods. I'm using 2.2m there instead because I'm also using 2.2m in another stage of the VIM.

i have played with the g2 settings now and the raster not used is now gone, it just needed a few clicks.
this way my brightness remains on 50 but i will play with it later tonight when its dark.

curt if you are reading this maybe you can add that colour temperature setup needs to be redone after this fix.
