Maybe...it depends on where you are and what you have already.
I have an 1101LC with new tubes and another set of perfect tubes. No. I wouldn't buy it.
But if I had nothing...I'd think about it.
If I was in the US, I'd look around.
If I was somewhere odd, then it might be a steal.
Bear in mind, he in Oz we are giving them to each other these days. A mate gave away a 751 with slightly worse tubes than yours - I took it as a spare and then gave away a 1101LC with very good tubes in turn.
I'd offer $200. See how you go. But without a service remote it's a boat anchor.

Well, Mark wants perfection.. for free.
As long as the set is working 100%, and has the ceiling mount and remote, $400 is OK, but Mark is right that hardly anyone will want to buy it regardless of tube shape, so there's probably some wiggle room.
Set aside $250-300 over the next 6 months in case a board fails in a projector slush fund, but there's lots of good life left in those tubes, esp. since the wear is over a large area of the tube faces.

Well, somebody did give me a 1101LC with perfect tubes (sans blue) for free.
CRTs are heading towards zero value pretty fast now. Only 9" is really worth something still. If someone offered me a late model LCOS/SXRD or a Cine9 for $3k....I'd really think about it. If the LCOS/SXRD could do 3D, I would jump at it.
You will have to think about your business Curt...

Yes, that is heading towards $400 now, if you don't have a CRT already.

The smaller wear inside doesn't look pretty. No telling how bad it would be though.

Yup, I figure I'm in CRT for another 6 weeks or so, then I'll shut this site down as no one comes here any more.
(for everyone else... I'M KIDDING! )
