I was increasing the master horizontal width a little last night and thought while I'm here
whay not check the 17v reference point - it came out at 17.57v

Having read the setup doc many times I realise for some models it's meant to be 17.5 and others 17.

Can someone tell me with absolute certainty that it's supposed to be 17.5v for a barco data 808 - Not S version.

I believe the 808 series should be 17 volts, the 1208 should be 17.5. That's what I've been setting them for for years now..Smile

the first time I checked my bg808s it was almost 17.5 and I was having issues with it freezing on power up. it would require an unplug until the keypad turned off to startup. It has been almost flawless since the adjustment. Yeah!

I managed to adjust the reference voltage to 17.01v - without killing myself Smile

I was trying to diagnose what looks like a noise problem ( possibly ground issue ? ) which manifests itself with diagonal lines (not retrace) top and bottom of the screen, have a "sine like" spacing between them and bounce up and down.

They are only visible on very bright scenes and I can't for the life of me remember when I first started seeing them, any suggestions where to start would be very welcome.
