HDMI cable of low quality or too long a run. Try a higher gauge copper cable or a silver coated copper HDMI cable. Fiber optic or cat-5 extender may be required depending on your situation.

www.monoprice.com

Item number: 3571

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10240&cs_id=1024002&p_id=3571&seq=1&format=2

I have installed over 50 of these and every one has worked. I have never found another 35' HDMI cable that is so reliable.

Yep, I had green shooting horizontal lines once in awhile with a poor HDMI cable on a Marquee a few years ago. I replaced the HDMI cable and it went away.

But do you have a non-HDMI source you can test with to see if you have the green lines with it also, just to make sure it's the HDMI before you spend $50 on another cable?
Or choose a non-existant input and set up a high internal source pattern?

Yeah, definitely check first if you don't already know what digital noise looks like. You can also try bringing your BD player right next to the projector and trying with a very short cable.
