Sometimes I wish I lived near the Canadian border and not down here in the expensive south.  Going into a boutique today and ordering a pair of Studio 20's v5 in Rosenut veneer. The wife and I auditioned these last Saturday and I was stunned how they sounded without any additional woofer.
As compensation for my HT spending  I am setting up a two-channel room for music for the wife. Color me with brownie points  Anyway, these things are f-ing expensive. How expensive, try US$1,200 for the pair. The alternative was a leftover stock of JB Lab (Focal) 816s (black finish) for $1,100, but I am just not trusting that venture.
So, any of you canucks know what these things cost in your home town?
