|
|
Here's the scenario,
I have a fully working G70 but have the option to pick up and ship a set of boards to Australia from Canada.
What parts should i ship over? What bits are likely(or prone) to fail over the next couple of years?

PA board but not always transferable to another chassis.
DC board, haven't personally had an issue with this one.

I wouldn't bother shipping the boards over unless you're going to get a complete set, Murphy's Law seems to come in full effect with these machines, if you got a complete set minus one board that would probably be the one to fail.
On my G70 I had one power supply board die due to a power surge, but other than that it has been rock solid for 12000 hours!
