hello all i am new to the crt projector realm and have a few questions about some recently acquired nec pg extras. i got three projectors total, 2 are 9 pg extras and one is a 6 pg extra. only one of them came complete and working, one of the 9's so the other 9 and the 6 is missing just a few boards. they are both missing i think a the deflection board, the board right on top when you open the case. also the 6 is missing one of the boards in the cage, i think the system board or the board with 2 connectors instead of one. so basically i would like to test all of the projectors out but before i do i would like to know if all the boards are interchangeable and another question is the cards in the cage, is it required to have them all if say the deflection board is interchangeable but the system or 2 connector board is not could i put my deflection board from the working 9 into the not working 6 and fire it up without the system board
thank you
ernie

Curt probably has a manual that you can take a look at.
There are places out there that have part numbers as they relate to each PJ.
You can leave the point board out of each PJ. I'm pretty sure all the other boards can be swapped.
Now you have to remember, swap one board and the PJ that your testing may look like it's not working properly. There is a lot to setting things up right.
Then there is the fact that even when things are done properly, there is the VooDoo doll that you to wave over the PJ to get it to behave.
