I don't beleive microsoft makes the absolute worst software products I've used. IMHO linux is worse, Forgive me to those who like linux, I just dont like how it functions. And as for mac.... no right click button? NO WAY! I need my right click button. There are no ifs ands or butts about it!
Besides who in their right mind would pay $2000 for a computer just to have the software... O_o
Anyway lets not turn this topic into a who loves company x and who hates company Y. We all preffer what we preffer
And Jerry, thats not a bad idea, I probably will do something like that (maybe buy the diNovo Edge keyboard with touchpad built in). I just wanted to see if anyone has attempted this, as I do think it would be cool to have such a large format touch capable display. I like interactive computer products, probably why I have a few touchscreen PC's/ monitors throughout the house. I've gotten so used to touchscreen that I have a habit of trying to do it on non touch capable monitors.

Are you serious? Plug in any $10 third-party mouse and you have right-click. It's been that way for as long as I can remember. If you're on a notebook computer, the trackpad is right-clickable... Been that way for years... If you're using an older machine, right-click can be accomplished with control-click.

WTF are you talking about? You can buy a Mac mini for $699 or a MacBook for $999. And many people think the prices are WELL worth it to get the software.

Well A, I don't look at macs, and B for $700 I can get a real windows based laptop thats3x better than that mini, for $1000 I can get a gaming computer. And I know macs are supporting games, some, not all, but who would sit there and pay the ridiculous prices to game on a mac... wait I guess I know
And as for the right click option, I havent seen that as an option since the last mac I used was about 10 years ago.
As for the software, I don't like the layout at all. And besides, if you really like the software, buy it and put in on a PC that cost half the price . Thats all a mac is nowdays anyway since the switch from their horrible old CPU's to intel CPU's (And you mac guys cant even choose to go AMD if you get a mac ) They sure are great computers eh?

I dunno J, even my 'magic mouse' has an option for 'right click' which can be used in most apple applications in the same way as their PC counterparts. Moving from Apple to PC & back isn't a big deal to someone who has a decent feel for both systems.
I could bring you a few (vintage) macs the next time I make a visit

How did this turn into an Apple v Microsoft thread...there are already other threads for this.
I offered a legitimate post about a hands free human interface technology.
The real question has already been posed...do you want to physically be touching the screen or do you want to be able to navigate a projected computer environment wihtout a mouse?
If it is the latter, there are several options including a Gyration mouse that several have used with varying degrees of success.
If you don't want to hold a mouse at all...like I said...wait for Windows 8.
