Hi all, finally mounted my Ampro its taken a while but hey, anyway I set it up for 1080p and when I was done I noticed that about a foot below the picture where the image will not even extend there is green light spilling accross the floor. When it was on the floor the picture was fine there was no light at the top or the bottom of the image. Its basically a line of light from the green tube only, I remember the glycol levels in the green looking a bit low could this cause this light spillage?

Yes, the reflections in the tube are bouncing off the air bubble. Top the glycol up and it will go away.

there are two alan key screws at the top of the tube, does it matter which one I put the glycol into once I remove the screw?

You pull both screws out. Add glycol to one and the other vents the air out.
To avoid spillage, I like to use a large syringe and inject the glycol SLOWLY. This also helps to avoid air bubbles, which can
take a distressingly long time to eliminate themselves from the glycol in some cases.
I've seen some "bad" glycol mixes in which any air bubble that got introduced would just stay there. I mean, months later
they hadn't risen at all. But if there were no air bubbles in that mix it'd still be perfectly usable.

You might get those allen screws out but you won't get the rubber plugs that they hold in place out.
Under the screw is a bullit shaped rubber plug with a metal core. They get stuck in hard.
Your best bet is to pull the tube and work the bubble out through the bladder. That ain't easy either.
Actually, although distracting the bubble works in your favor. The expansion bladder is small and the bubble helps relieve pressure within the coupling.

I have no problems getting out the plugs. I use a really fine flat screw driver to get the little flat metal plate out. Then use a sheet rock screw to screw into the rubber a few threads then pull it out. I have no problems with getting them to come out.

I think I will need to take those bottom screws out the air bubble does not seem to want to go it has got smaller as I have added glycol, I tried to work it out by opening the bladder but no luck. Thanks again for all the help gents.

I wasted a whole day once trying to get them out of a full set of tubes just to top them off. All I managed to do is mangle the plugs and get chunks of rubber inside the couplings resulting in draining them and starting from scratch. I tossed the plugs and allen screws and replaced them with flat blade pan head screws with neoprene washers for seals.

I filled the tube up and then put it in there is still a bubble right at the top but no light spill, thanks again for all the advice guys, its working great for the world cup!
