Wow, that sucks! maybe you should let him know your aware of Alans situation and let him know your going to the authorities with this since it was done over the internet it is now a federal crime. Especially if you live in a different state.

""If this is true, then lucky for you Alan.....the G90 gods are smiling on you. Wished I'd been so lucky.....""

"HaydnG90"

Does this mean that Haydn has also had trouble and lost G90 boards with the same guy...???

My personal experience with Haydn has been exceptional, a true CRT and HT enthusiast,
appreciative of good workmanship, a serious moto rider, and brilliant scientist at a leading
university to top it all off....

Where does this trail end....??

Hi Galen,
No my YA boards are safe and sound. Thumbs Up
I was merely referring to Curt's comment that he'd found the problem with Alan's YA....that it wasn't a duff IC421 and therefore repairable.

I'm kind of wondering why no one asked this question. What happened to the Moome box he was sent for testing?
Did he decide he liked it to much and thought it was OK to keep it. Did he sell it to someone else? Why does he have to order another one to replace it? WHERE IS IT NOW???

Is this Curt's best friend with multiple identities? Laughing

He emailed Alan a copy of the order form, he was to buy a replacement units, guess that unit hasn't shown up, yet, otherwise we would have heard.

I have not received the Moome box from Martin. He never emailed an actual order copy, just a few emails stating he did. I am not holding my breath as time is long overdue since I should have received it.
It's too bad other names that have shown up with similar issues I went through and feel lucky I got my boards back.
The Moome box did cost me around $320 when it first came out, which really sucks.
I wish luck to everyone still waiting and keep the thread posted if the moome box arrives.
I did email moome directly if he had an order but did not hear back from him.

The question still stands. What happened to the original Moome device? I think the answer to this question puts to rest the question of what kind of person you were dealing with. If he kept it,...he stole it. If he sold it and pocketed the money, he still stole it.

As far as the projector boards go, if he actually tried to fix them and failed, perhaps (very loosely) no foul. Heck, you don't even know if those are the same boards you sent him. I do hope you eventually get ALL your stuff back and I hope this was a learning experiance for you and you learned. From now on, you should only deal with Gary Laughing

Actually, for some strange reason, I was typing at my g/f's place, and didn't realize I wasn't logged in. It assigned the name Mickey, and let me post.

Go figure. Smile
