hey guys... I have a marquee 8000 with hd-144 colorfiltered lenses. my Screen is 244cm wide... how far is the throwing distance ???

check out the manual on Curt's manual page. It will give you a ballpark TD. To get an exact number, the only way is to maximize the raster with your source and resolution of choice, then move the pj back until it's in focus on the screen.

You can read through this thread and although it's informative , Sparky is right...max the raster and see how well you're filling the screen. As Kal said in the thread link..some adjustment is always necessary with different lenses.

I'm going through that same step right now with my 8500 after doing some cap and resistor replacements, but I've got a different issue...I'm hitting 100 H width before the rasters are edge to edge (and still on the tube face.) Not sure what's up with that. I might have gotten a resistor that was out of spec when I replaced a bunch recently. Time to hit the service manual.
