I do, as of February. I've been getting acquainted with it since then before I hang it on the ceiling. Anyway, I need to wait another month for my foot to heal from 'flatfoot' surgery before doing that but I did put in a new green LUG tube.

If you find a G90 in "working condition" with "good to mint" tubes, then snap it up as fast as possible. Compared with any non-modified CRT projector, it's arguably the best ever made.
HOWEVER, if you find one in "non-working" condition, then let it be. Because it's hard as heck to find parts at a reasonable cost for these projectors. They are not as common as the 9" Electrohome or Barco models, which are easy to repair at a reasonable cost. And easy to find parts for.
And the tubes in the G90 are highly sought after to mod other projectors with. So the aftermarket value is very high which makes replacing a worn out G90 tube rather expensive.
And if you see a G90 advertised with 1000 hours, then make darn sure to get tube pics. Because while a 1000 hour 9500LC is probably going to have good tubes, the G90's often have heavily worn tubes by 1000 hours. This is because the default settings are pretty high and not corrected very often.

Are you looking for brand new? The only company I'm aware of that has new A and B stock G90's are FH Video.
http://www.fhvideo.com/product.php?m=VPHG90U&id=899
Pricey but will have some sort of warranty.
IMO you'd be better off spending less money with Curt on a warranteed and fully supported G90, with either low hours or a completely retubed unit. Once the 6 months warranty expires on the FH G90 you're on your own..... Although I love the image my G90 puts out at this point in the game I don;t think its worth putting that kind of money into CRT technology. Of course the choice is your's......

HaydnG90,
Thank you for the information, I'll check and see whether they have brand NEW unit in stock as well as how much they want for the G90U, it was well over $28,000 eleven years ago.

The last I heard FH had NOS G90s still laying around. I think they wanted somewhere around $15k to $18k for them.
I know it pisses people off, but I think the G90 is overrated. You would probably be better off buying a 9" Marquee or Barco from Curt.

In my experience there is only 1 Pj that is on the 90's level...
The Runco Dtv 1200...which is a Barco cine-9.
I would be really happy w/ either.

I guess we'll have to agree to differ on that opinion. Sure there are some weaknesses in the design but overall its been said by many that Sony did many things right when the G90 was engineered. Those weaknesses such as noise in the video chain are being addressed with Mike Parkers mods.
I too would say the Cine 9 is the pinnacle of CRT technology but with the new mods I think even that performance will be surpassed, and probably by some considerable margin. Right, Mike?

FYI, I check with FH Video today, A brand new G90U cost $19,000 plus installation ($1,500), They have one Demo units left that has less then 44 hours usage for $12,000.
