Woopee!!!!! I got home from work to the wonderful news "You've got Mail". Could it be?? After many weeks.. Months?? Not really sure any more, but the resistors arrived, so today was the big day. Contact. NASA we DON"T have a problem. No smoke. Whew! No Flashes. Thank God. And to add a layer of decadent icing on the cake (that I plan on eating too btw) ...... No more sound of power tools firing up when the magic on button is pushed. My efforts have truly paid off. A freshly green tubed XG that has a pleasant whirring sound that will be quite tolerable until the hush cabinet is designed, built and installed. I'd like to take this time to ask all those who made this production possible to stand up, take a bow and accept my mostest, bestest, loudest, greatest, extremest, THANK YOU!!!!! I hope you don't mind me dropping names but too damned bad if you do. The Academy Award for Best Projector Helper Outer and all around great guys, goes out to a fine crew of human beings that can be found right here in our fine little community. These people are in no particular order..........

Thank you all for your help.
If I missed anybody please forgive me but I'm quite tired (work long 16 hour days) and am so pleased I could just about sh!t! So another round of applause to anybody I may have missed!
I would be amiss if I did not add a special thank you and a personal standing ovation of one to Mark_A_W and jarseneau for their patience, expertise and effort in helping me figure out just what I needed to do to make my neck board compatible with the 07 tube.
Now I'm going to go through the tube conditioning procedure, just to be on the safe side. Hey, what's 4 days after the couple months it took to get this whole project completed.
Thanks again to all involved.
And one more special thanks goes out to Curt Palme and kal. Curt and kal, if it wasn't for you and your web site/forum and the fine people that your forum has attracted, none of this would have been possible. Thank you.

LOTREE are you working here like so many of your NFLD. brothers. If so, munchies, coolies and a movie are on me of course. If not and your up to the drive, I'll even give ya a place to crash for the night. Only problem is you could re-tube an entire PJ for the cost of fuel alone to get here. If you ever do plan on coming this way though, feel free to look me up.

Thanks for the acknowlegement Ironman . Did you find that the greyscale was pretty close? I wonder what the difference would have been without the neckboard changes but it was good you did it to be on the safe side.
