Nobody huh? Will someone at least give me some pointers. I'm confused about the raster. Does it get adjusted before you start setting everything else up?

I would skip the raster adjusting part. A lot of these steps assume that the raster setting is way off, and unless someone has been into the set, you usually don't need to reset that.
Since you have three sets, why not pull the lenses off each set, and post a pix of the tube faces? We'll tell you which set to start with. As for the setup, this guide that I wrote should guide you through it:

I don't know of anyone in South Texas. I believe there are some guys in San Antonio. Since you got three pjs and I assume they were cheap, you might want to contact CZ Eddie. He said he is looking to get a CRT. He may drive down and help you set one up if you give him one of the pjs for his service.

I'm in Austin. I briefly had an NEC XG1352 (sold to Doug Baisey). I set it up once or twice. I remember being pretty upset with how different it was to set up vs. a Marquee. I got pretty frustrated and only got a "so-so" calibration out of it because I took a lot of shortcuts out of ignorance. I didn't get to know it very well because I happened upon a 9500LC just a couple weeks after retubing the XG.
Been looking for an excuse to go to Corpus, but my plate is pretty full right now.
If you want to pay a pro to do it, then Doug Baisey is your guy. If he's still available anyways?

From what I understand the NEC's are notoriously difficult to set up, especially for a newb. Better off finding a Barco or Marquee. I cut my teeth on a Barco BG808s and the step by step guided setup procedure was pretty foolproof.

I have an XG - I don't find it THAT difficult to set up. It's certainly not like a Marquee that almost has a setup wizard to guide you through, but if you follow the CRT setup guide on this forum (done with an XG), you should be ok. Once you have a basic understanding of NEC's logic, you start to get pretty good at it...

""out of curiosity, how much would one of the units i have sell for nowadays?""
I'm picking up an NEC 6pg & NEC 6pg+ for free this weekend. Also getting an Electrohome ECP-4100 & ECP-4000 with some extra tubes and a ceiling mount for $80 USD tomorrow.
CRT PJ's are mostly valued at what it's worth to you to keep 'em! They're easy to inexpensively accumulate it's just how much room you got? This will put me at 13 units and that's it! NO MORE! I will fix those I can, part out anything good and recycle the rest. This hobby is gettin' outta hand!
follow the advice you get on this site and you'll experience "theater" like never before. Great bunch of people here and most helpful.
Best of luck.
Dave
