F-1...Switcher communications error?
But I don't have a switcher hooked up.
This happened once before and I noticed it had switched from SW-1 level to stand alone in the "OPTION" menu. That time I switched it back to SW-1 and restarted and it worked normally. This doesn't work this time.
Stand alone mode works okay except I can't use the first input memory, and I had to quick set up a new memory from scratch for stand alone.
Anybody have any ideas for restoring normal operation in SW-1 mode? If not I guess I'll have to do a full set up for stand alone.
Is this a warning sign of some sort of board failure about to happen?

it's probably a loose connection between the PJ and the proprietary Runco aspect ratio board. The board somehow pretends to be a switcher (I don't know the details though).

Thanks for that info, I'll pop the hood and check and reset all connections.

Working just fine now. I opened the cover and checked connections but there was nothing loose that I could see.
Weird.
