Did you ever just hear an actors voice and know instantly who it was?

I just Heard {T.V. playing in the other room} the trailer for Nightmare on Elm Street and instantly knew it was Rorschach from the Watchmen Movie, I had no idea who played the part I had to look it up, but knew the voice right off.
