Maybe not every deal I ever tried to make went perfectly, but one thing is absolutely certain: I have a perfect shipping record. Not one
thing I have ever shipped to anyone, regardless of size, weight, or fragility, has ever been damaged in shipping. I KNOW how to pack
things so that they will withstand the rigors of shipping even when UPS is involved.

I don't blame you CJ: I can't imagine shipping something like a CRT tube in anything other than original packaging!

And be sure to take magnetics off of tubes before you ship them! I tried this and even using extreme packaging, one broke. I think from momentum alone and no impact/damage was visible. Noob lesson learned...the hard way, UGH.

VDC safely ships complete, pre-aligned tube assemblies, with magnetics and shrouds, on a daily basis, without a problem.

If you understand the dynamics of what the tube and magnetics assembly can withstand without damage and how the
packaging has to be set up to support it properly, shipping a complete assembly isn't really a problem.

The CRT face end needs to be supported with some reasonable amount of rigidity but not TOTALLY rigid. The neck end
needs to be supported more softly, but not allowed to move freely. Magnetics should be gently cushioned.
