Long time no talk. Well, I'm slowly moving towards finishing the theater and I just had one of our long time members work his magic on my 1292 a week ago. I haven't touched the PJ in over a year, or since my daughter was born. I totally forgot that I took off one of the bolts, that holds the lens and has two springs on it. Now, obviously I can't find it, so I'm nicely asking if anyone has one of these spare, including the two springs. I'm having some dispute with PayPal over some stuff and I refuse to use it anymore. To make the story short, I just lost $US1450 and a $US2000 analog synth. I really hate PayPal, but that's a totally different story. So....I could send cash (simple), or I could probably find a buddy, that could wire the $ for me through PayPal, or whatever. Anyways, I really need this part to get my focus on red tube setup properly.
Cheers
Chris

I'm not familiar with 1292, but you may want to have this thread moved to the buy/sell forum, since this is really a wanted ad. Maybe post a pic of what your looking for? If Curt doesn't have them, I'm sure someone else has them who has a 1292 parts machine.

Damn! I had a ziplock bag full of 1292 tube housing hardware and I know it contained what you needed but I guess I threw it out. Hopefully Curt will have a couple hundred laying around!

Thanks for everyone's replies. I just PM'ed Curt, so I should be good to go.
By the way, it has been over a year, since I sat down and watched a movie from the beginning to the end. I forgot how good it is to watch a good movie. I also forgot how CRT projected film looked like, and after the movie, it reminded me why I bought this boat anchor over a big screen TV for my theater. It's good to be back in this madness of a hobby.
Cheers
Chris.
