Well I'm downloading MeediOS right now and will play with it tonight. I have been using MC7 with Media Browser but with ~150 movies in my library Media Browser is becoming sluggish so the search for a faster alternative is on.

I have noticed that too...I'm at about 350 movies.

I tried Meedios and had problems. Because it doesn't have an integrated player... I spent hours trying to get it to load mkv's correctly. I decided to use zoom player, had good luck with it in the past. Just couldn't get anything to link up correctly.

MPC-HC is the easiest player to get working right with MKVs and MediaBrowser is a good front end...There are some ways to speed it up I think...I'm looking into that option.
