Making good progress setting up my NEC 6PJ (thanks to Curt and others). On my Panasonic Blu Ray player I can choose from two different 4:3 ARs-one letterbox and two different 16:9 ARs-one full and one letterbox in the screen set-up. My screen is 16:9, but CRT faces aren't...the raster's will be...so a little confused. FYI, I choose 720p as the resolution over 1080i.

Choose 16:9 full, then squish the raster vertically using the projectors controls.

Thanks for the response. I think analog rocks too. Though I am brand new to CRTs, I have been doing vinyl for about 15 years and have slowly migrated to a very high-end set-up. I'm hoping that these analog displays are equally rewarding.

Just wait until you get it dialed in!
BTW, throw your location in your profile, so we know where you are. Never know who else is here that might just be around the corner from you that can assist down the road.
