I'm totally frustrated by the sales and marketing tactics of the anti virus companies.

I can't find a single user 3yr subscription at a reasonable price. They are promoting the hell out of 1yr 3PC. I don't want to deal with these guys on an annual basis. They act like drug dealers.

Were can I find a decent price 3yr Internet Suit?

I run the free stuff on the HTPC, all it does is DVR and play DVD's, no sensitive or critical data etc.

But my main PC with banking etc. I'm a little paranoid. The free stuff is good but just how good when it comes to new threats?

In the end I was able to free up a license that is good for another 8 months. By then it will be time to renew/upgrade all the house PC's.

I'm surprised MS would come out with anything free. When the time comes I'll have to check out MSSE.

Just don't go on questionable sites or download from crazy places.

If you aren't logging into haxor forums you have little to be worried about. You are just as likely to have something stolen from your mailbox...do you have a locking mailbox?
