i.e. kill the 28V circuit. I'll have the answer tomorrow.

Uh-oh...I see a slight delay coming. I got both EP's back in, then took a break to help my neighbor set his 3,000 gallon water tank. Seems it rolled over on me during the setup, and I'm sitting here in an arm sling and ice pack. Please have patience with the disabled. I'll pull those inductors as soon as I can figure out how to do it one-handed.

Wow, that sucks. Just let me know when your back at it. Just remember to mark those inductors if you remove them completely. They are different values.

So far I've been lucky enough to lift one end. Not sure how I'm going to accomplish that with one hand, but I'll give it a shot.

OK. One fractured collarbone later, and we're back in action.....somewhat.
LP13, 14, and 17 pulled. DP15 & 19 go off after 2 seconds. DP20 slowly fades after 10 seconds. DP21 & 22 slowly fade after 20 seconds.
Sorry for the long wait for that fairly undramatic show. What's next Doc?
Forgot to mention.....DP06 is still at it in the blinking dept.

Well, for the benefit of those that might be reading this post in the future, per your instructions, I have pulled LP08 and LP09 with the same results. Both inductors were pulled with the previous 3 inductors out of the circuit as well.

Well.....as an update, there is no update. Macgyver is temporarily down for the moment, so I'm left to scratch my head on my own.
Still think it's a power supply problem, but no solution yet.

I know Macgyver won't believe this, but I still haven't given up. I had a shot at a power board from a unit in Texarkana, but I couldn't figure out a way to get it here with the shipping cost.
I still have this relic sitting against the wall, against all judgments of the other members of this household, but I die hard. There just has to be a way, and I won't quit yet.

These can be real difficult to trouble shoot. Remove both the convergence chips and try turning it on.

Good to see that you're still with us. I'm currently working on a job in Ohio, so I'll be out of the loop troubleshooting-wise for a while. When I get back to the farm, I'll give your suggestion a shot. Course, I will first have to re-connect the 28V line that I took off over a year ago.
Thanks for the post.

I would reconnect everything that was disconnected and start from scratch.

Probably a good idea given the length of time. I need to get my head wrapped around it again and figure out where I was.
This current job will probably wind down at the end of the year, and I'll see if I can re-group my thoughts. Pulling the convergence chips is a good start. Thanks for checking in again. Hope you have recovered from your back problems, and I look to posting again soon. Thanks again for the help.
