Can anyone tell me if switching to hdmi disables the analog 5.1? I'm thinking about adding an hd fury but do not want sound running thru it. Thanks. Can I use analog out for sound and hdmi for video?

It does not, but then again I am depending on my memory. I had one of these and it went belly up in its ability to play regular DVDs. But when it was working it was outputting just fine.
