OK, this may sound odd, but.. I have a question about some random movie scene I saw on TV when I was a little kid. I have no idea what the title of the movie is or who is in it. All I remember is this guy being in this house or something and the power goes out, looks like a storm is brewing cuz its all windy and its at night. He runs out into a barn or something and hand cranks a generator. If somebody knows what the name of this movie is or if it is from some movie. I finally got the idea to post a question on a forum site. It seemed interesting to me and would be cool if I knew what movie it was from. Thanks!

That's not much to go on. If that is all you remember it doesn't sound very interesting.

Tom, you don't remember cool scenes from movies you saw as a kid, but not remember the names of the movies? I can think of lots of scenes like that... I'm very visual, so I remember all sorts of cool details, I'm just terrible with the names. Heck, sometimes I can't remember the name of a movie I saw last weekend!!!!

Yup. Me too. I'm very visual and remember entire scenes of movies but none of the names of the people in it.

That's what IMDB is for.

Yes...I like media browser on my HTPC too...You can cross reference actors and director with a few clicks on the remote, for all movies on your media server.

You mean you do not remember anything other than what you have already disclosed? Why is 'that' interesting? Very Happy

yeah its all i remember from it... thats what's so frustrating about it. because I never saw it again. i like thunderstorms, maybe thats why. it seemed kind of scary for some reason and dramatic the way the 40s style/ice cream parlor pendant lamps were swinging on the house... it was a hallway I think. who knows, i remember random things from childhood like that. i'm an artist on occasion. i paint and draw so it makes sense i'm visual.

Are you sure it was a theatrical release? Maybe one of those Sunday Night Movies (made for TV), or even a television show (NBC had some that ran as long as a movie).
