Projector making an occasional popping noise

Aside from the usual quite popping and clicking, i am getting a louder pop every now and then, last night i watched a 2 hour movie and i think it happened 3 times.

Sounds like putting a very small dent in a soda can, and popping it back out, definitely doesn't sound normal.


How long before it blows up?

not long, you have a voltage leak somehwere and you need to fix it.
