Alright, also being able to twist the focus coil made an improvement. I have now been able to settle for a certain setting. The raster is off center by about 2" and focus 0 - 100 makes the raster shift about ¾" but it's accetpable (although I wonder if it's much improvement from the way I started off...).
Oh well, at least I learned a thing or two and I will continue to caliberate the PJ when I take it off the ceiling to move the rails closer to the screen, that way I'll be able to actually mark the center of the tubes.
