In the event that you're looking at CRTs which have very little phosphor wear, get yourself a UV light of
some sort. Even a UV keychain LED will work. Illuminate the CRT surface with it and it will show wear that is
not visible to the naked eye. It's particularly effective on blue CRTs but it works on all of them.
This will help you to distinguish between "minty" and genuinely "brand new" condition tubes.
