Hello Everyone,
I have the good luck and fortune of buying a old Zenith CRT 810 PJ I had 12 years ago at a bargain price! The Zenith design is good, unit was dusted inside w/ NO repairs evident, Zenith durability.
Can ANYONE tell me how to horizontally converge the images for the different focus distances the U.S. Lenses installed allow for. There is no labling for the pots on PCBs. Does anyone have a manual, will gladly buy? I acheived perfect setup focus for all 3 CRTs. I need to converge the image-- since my room isn't big enogh for the convergence distance to the screen now. Can someone steer me in the right direction please.

From what I remember Curt saying Zenith didn't release too much info about these in terms of installation manuals.
If it's not in the Zenith section here already I hope someone else can send it too you. If you do find it send it to Kal so he can post it here too.

Thanks for the input analog rocks. This unit I'm going to give to my brother in a few months, who wants an inexpensive PJ for a backyard theatre.
The zenith design and the modules and zen CRTs make it worthwhile to invest in service manual whenever it decides to finally breakdown.
The tripler on this unit is well made and is a monster in size.

This has been bugging me for a few days, and I think the answer is... there is no adjustment for H shift. These sets were set up for an 8' diagonal screen, and while the lenses allow for focus adjustments, I don't think the electronics does. What little H shift there is are on the tabs on the yokes.
Without seeing the set, that's the best answer you'll get out of me.
If you want, send me or post some pix of the convergence board, and the area of the metal bracket that holds the tubes in place. If there's some physical adjustment to allow pivoting mechanically of the tubes, that's where the adjustments would be. Like I said though, I don't think there is any.
