OK, the gas worked!

I left the tube outside, face up, and put gas in. Topped it up twice in 24 hours, then flushed it like crazy,and I was really skeptical as it didn't look like the silicone had changed any. But.. sure enough, the box cutter blade went right through the silicone, smoove like butta!

I rotated the tube 180 degrees, and I'm resealing it now.

Have you tried that on Marquee housings? Especially the 15 year old ones where the tube is REALLY stuck in there?

Does gas eat at the bellows?
