Today I fired up my marquee 9500 ultra. After it's been installed and calibrated last friday it worked perfect until today Sad

When i powered it up there is a dissortion in the picture. A black horizontal bar, a few inch high is dividing the picture and the geometry is a also wrong.

I have it wired trough a crystalio II with a 1080p 60 hz input.

I tried all trough hdfury:

Directly from HDDVD 1080i
720p from crystalio
576p from crystalio
1280*1024 from crystalio, tested this with the hd fury in my conputer lcd and this worked fine. So the crystalio works, and the hd fury also. Plugged it in the marquee, the black bar was there but somewhere lower in the picture.

Tried the hdfury with and without 5 volt.

When the marquee is powered up without source the geometry looks good, when I switch on the power the marquee is wrong and stays wrong on all sources. A new power up and it's back to normal, till I switch on a source again.. Sad

Measured the battery on the clm it's 3.05 volt.

Attached a poor foto with Iphone, to giva an impression..

HELP please Rolling Eyes

Try switching from Short to long retrace. Or is there a 24hz/24fp setting on your HDdvd? If there is turn that off.

Hello

I have seen that a few times, problem is in the control board or dpb. If Curt doesn't have a complete control board for you then I probably have one.

Yep the DPB, try cleaning the chips and also look at all the solder points on the connector to the CLM and on the CLM underside, a cracked or cold solder joint will also do that. Also clean the longer chips socket as well as U7 on the DPB. it might work, if not you need a new DPB.
