someone recently posted a problem where when powered up their Marquee would make a high pitched whine that got louder and louder, machine wouldn't run. I thought this was wierd, like maybe someone having trouble describing something? Well not so, it's a Bad DBP on the CLM. The whine comes from the HDM , I found the sound unsettling and powered down quickly.

Hi dragan,
I don't know if it was my post you are refering to, but my Marquee was suffering from this problem, too. It came up in the process of fixing this issue (see page 2, first post).
And yes, I tracked it down to the DPB as well as you can read in the following posts (ignore the off-topic on UPS ). After replacing it, the unit worked fine again. I had the impression that the noise came from the Vertical Board on the rear heatsink though.
Do you have a solution for this problem?
