Boo! I'm back. No, seriously, you might get something out of the attached graphs with technical descriptions of the measurements we did on a 1 cubic foot subwoofer enclosure with a 10" driver and 3" port diameter. The Thiele/Small alignment is compared to the Embedded Transmission Line alignment. I am confident you will understand and appreciate this even if your general membership does not. Hope you have a great new year!

Actually, let's stop the bashing.. just for a second.

I have no idea what you're trying to impress us with.

Your links were to some boombox type units for Ipods if I remember correctly.

You gave some wrong links, got all butthurt when I called you out, and now you're back with some graphs about something completely different.

I did spend a few seconds of my life looking at your links, and I'm more confused than ever.

Why don't you approach this a bit more rationally, say what you do, what you're trying to sell, etc. SOme links that work would be good, but in the end, everyone here is pretty damn jaded, and most here know what we're talking about (some more than others, hah!), so don't try and baffle us with BS, or we'll start picking on you again.

BTW, my new saying of the year:

I'll hold my tongue for now since you asked, but I already identified where those graphs came from.......

And I'm also willing to hear him out as long as its not condensating...... (condescending)

Fair enough. Go to our company's mission statement at http://clearcenterchannel.com/wordpress/?p=441 and you will find the answers you seek. BTW, the Sharp iElegance is no boombox at all. It is a lifestyle personal amplified speaker system that has a really clean and full spectrum sound. Chck it out and my review on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Sharp-i-Elegance-Music-System-Players/dp/B0024NL3O8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1262525846&sr=1-4.

Yep, I am packing up to go back to GA. It was 9 degrees this morning in the NC mountains; I can imagine how cold it was where you are.

Yes, it was very cold in Vancouver here this morning. I had to put extra seal oil into the lanterns and put on some extra bear fur to keep warm.

OK, let's dissect your website for a sec. THese are my opinions only, others may vary

1) Hit me with a term like 'biometrics' when it comes to electronics, and right away you've lost me. There's a weak link at best between electronics and biometrics, (unless you're using electronics as a measuring device), which of course opens up the floodgates for gobbeldygook white papers, justifying whatever you're trying to cram down people's throats.

2) Second, you're posting as 'biodaddy'. Zero credibility with me again. Am I supposed to believe or take seriously anything posted by 'daddy' anything? I'll be back in a sec, my 18 year old g/f that calls me 'Sugar' wants me to help her with her homework. BRB.

3) Your comments about the Majestic Diamonds: Nothing new here. Small speakers have a wider dispersion pattern, can't move lot of bass, and placing them in the corners of a room will result in more bass. Big deal.

4) I glossed over Jan PLummer's patent. I'm sure he knows more about speaker construction than I do, but it occurs to me that if his 'invention' was of significance, it would be found in more than $69 boom boxes made by Sharp and others.

5) Now, onto what you came on here with. Your muddy center channel problem solver. I still say it's a car stereo tweeter with built in crossover, something that can be had for $10-15 from Parts Express or elsewhere.

-Dispersion- 160 degrees. At what frequency? I call BS on this spec. Complete BS.
-your seemingly random locations for said DAD unit will cause phasing issues. Some EASE, Mlssa or other computer renderings of dispersion would be interesting to see.

6) Your website is supposed to be a forum, but all comments are closed, so no one can post their opinions. You're the only one on the site that can post your drivel.

Good luck with the marketing of your 'made in China' speakers. You might approach WalMart where most HTIB systems are sold. Perhaps you can convince their buyer to carry your product. It never will be advertised on this website though.

You have violated the rules of virtually every forum on the web, including your own, Curt. First you modify my post to make it read like offensive porno crap. Even spammers (which I have proved that I am not) don't deserve that. Then you make snap judgments and mischaracterizations at every step along the way about the validity of our products ignoring the fact that they have been sold to the high end community and given very positive professional reviews for over 5 years now. Finally, you take the absolute lowest road by bashing another forum (mine). Your comments are both unprofessional and immature.

Now calm down guy. Here's the problem you have created.

1. Your website is unclear on what you are peddling.

2. Pictures are worth a million words. Show off your product proudly. You don't have a page this is what I am selling and these are the specifics of it.

3. You came to us we did not come to you. You want us to listen, don't talk like Gary M.(not someone you want to be like) Be proud of your product don't be defensive be on the offense.

4. You won't sample your product to the Mods or members. You have no stores with your product how can we be sure the money we are spending is worth it. And NO we will not just buy it on your word and return it if we don't like it.

5.If you truly want us to listen STOP being an azz. The attitude you are coming off with is not conductive to this relationship.

Mac, have at it.

Psycho, us mods regularly change spam posts to porn type stuff, it amuses us to no end. We're men....err..guys.. errr... kids.Smile

Once I realized that you might actually have something to sell, I backed off, but I'd erased your original links, so I couldn't put them back.

My last post above stands completely, and while I take great pleasure in needling people, you're the one that came back to this, long after this post dropped off and we lost interest in it. So, I did decide to take a more rational approach as with my last post above. It might not be completely PC or even overly professional, but I stand behind every point I posted above.

Give me something other than a $69 Ipod personal blaster, send me a sample, and maybe I'll change my opinion

If you want a PC post, see bbfarmht's post above.

Lastly, if you want to come across as being serious about what you're selling, the 'biodaddy' handle HAS to go. Ditto for the Psycho handle here.

I personally never use a nickname for a number of reasons, mainly because I have nothing to hide, and if someone wants to know what I said, my name is right on every post.

As for your forum, you don't have one. It looks like you do, but since no one can post, you're simply talking to yourself.

My advice regarding WalMart is legit. You're probably best off selling your wares to them, as those are the types of people that will buy them. You even said way back on page 1 here that you're marketing to HTIB type people. Most here don't fit into that category.

1. Especially if you don't take the time to look at the categories in the sidebar... there are 11 of them. folks.
2. Pictures, specs, prices at http://clearcenterchannel.com/wordpress/?page_id=227
3. Not once can you point to my being defensive, guy. Too many replies to me have been offensive personal attacks, though. Another mischaracterization that seems commonplace with Curt Palme disciples.
4. Hold on there, you gotta be loony to think that anyone would send samples to people that obviously have an axe to grind and expect a fair review. Follow the links I gave to the professional reviewers and come off this "we have to hear for free it to believe it" BS. There has been zero credibility demonstrated by you guys that would deserve that kind of risk.
5. Really, now. Who's got the attitude? I have tried to be rational and professional in every way with this forum and it has been met with disrespect.

BTW, there is a section for replying to every post if Curt will read instead of "skim over" everything.

My name is David Blackshear and I am proud of my reputation and my products despite the detractors' cheap shots. I have underware that's probably older and in better shape than most of you guys appear to be.

Who says you wouldn't get a fair review? Curt's a big man, if he liked your product he'd say he did. Why NOT send one?
