$16 car tweeter with fancy text and marketed appropriately to the high end HT crowd = your link above.

Ever consider that someone has a blown tweeter in the center channel?

Your device isn't necessary and I'll consider this post clever spam.

Yes, the fact that we're obviously coming up on the radar of spammers in general is flattering...

Maybe I jumped the gun with the link. You may delete that post if you feel it's appropriate, but it's not appreciated that you immediately jumped to the conclusion that I was a spammer and selling "crap." Are you open to your forum members being exposed to and discussing new technology? If not, I'll go away.[/quote]

I'll let the others decide. You've got a car stereo tweeter with an inline capacitor marketed to the home theater crowd. There's nothing new about that. It's also not needed if the tweeter in the center channel is working properly.

Tell you what. Put your money where your mouth is. Send 6 samples to people that volunteer here, let them review it, and WE'LL decide if it's spam. I'll take one, send it to the address on the website here.

That's how ALL third party item sellers here have done it. They don't come here and throw up links to stuff they're trying to peddle with their first post.

I'll bet you won't come through.

The challenge is a fair one but I will control the rules for review before giving product away indiscriminately... especially to those who have an axe to grind.

Okay, let's set the ground rules. Firstly, are any of your forum members owners of or interested in HTIB systems? If not, then it's a waste of time to let high end audiophiles attempt to evaluate a product that might not help their expensive systems whatsoever. On the other hand, what are the chances that, if there is an improvement with their high end speakers, will they admit it? Could be a huge ego bruiser.

Put it this way I have an EAW concert rig systems with double 15" woofers per side, 12" 3 way speakers LCR, driven by 500 W RMS per channel.

http://www.eaw.com/products/KF300z.html

I'd like to try one, as I got the rig and the amps for free. My ego won't be damaged.

Your tweeter might.

Yep, you fell into my trap, big guy. I can't help chuckling at how quickly the high-end audiophile community so quickly jumps at the opportunity to toot their own horn and condescend to the great unwashed; e.g., those that simply own HTIB home theater systems. If I thought there was an opportunity to profit from you guys then I would have never researched the market potential for this product to begin with... although the subwoofers I sell are, indeed, high-end units. Guess you'll want a free sample of that too, like the rest of your stuff?

No, I took my system in on trade. See, if you want to be successful in business, you need to step up to the plate, especially with the detractors.

I'm cynical when it comes to almost everything, but when someone says 'you can't do that' when it comes to sound installations, I do indeed step up to the plate and show the customer how I can do it when others say it can't.

I've fallen flat on my face a few times, but I've been successful far more, and I've got a bunch of lifetime customers.

BTW, the EAW speakers are far from high end home audio. They are a pretty decent commercial sound system rig, but then again, those that spam info onto sites that they don't do research with first usually have no concept of that.

Turns out I'm not happy with my bass, so I would actually give your subwoofers an audition, but as I said, you won't step yp to the plate to send me one, will you?

Are you familiar with the Avantgarde Duo loudspeakers (>$15K the pair)? Users have upgraded their subs with and loved the TBI units with these speakers systems. Look, here's the deal. I will sell you one of the Magellan VI su subs (or any of the HDSS® products, for that matter) at our dealer prices and then, if you don't like it, simply return the product in its original condition in the original packaging and I'll refund you your money in full. No questions asked. That's a fair deal, so will you belly up to the captain's table and toast to this offer?

Hey Curte,

I've gotta go help my wife trim the Christmas tree, so must go for now. I will check in with your response to my offer in the morning. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

Here's the problem psychoidiot.

You come to our forum, never have any conversation with anyone before, post a product for sale in the wrong section and then attempt to antagonize people.

If your are trying to sell a legitimate product your surely not going about it in the proper way.

You are acting exactly like a spammer and as such are being treated as a spammer and absolutely none of the thousands of members and people that visit this site will buy your product merely based on your actions here.

If you do have a legitimate product then I'll advise you to hire someone that knows something about sales.

Other wise your just annoying everyone here and we will just request that you be banned.

So if YOU want to step up to the plate, then first apologize to everyone here and explain your product and give us some data to support your claim.

Your serve,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

No, I won't pony up any funds. You can google my name, there's currently 50+ pages directly linked to my name or this website. I can't run anywhere with your subwoofer. Send me one, I'll do a fair evaluation on it, and will personally apologize to you for changing your first post if it turns out to be anything but some offshore relabeled pressboard box that sounds decent. . I'll ship back prepaid, so all you're out is shipping costs.

Mac more or less covered my reaction to your post, well said Mac.

Okay, I'll apologize for not following convention and whatever other crimes I might have committed here. I will not, however apologize for annoying you simply by challenging you. If argumentum ad hominem is all you can muster, Mac, consider this as a response to your your request for data to support my claims.

Nine major companies are currently producing products under license with this technology. There is a U.S. utility patent issued plus a second one that has been awarded and issued on 10 Nov. 2009. There is a third US patent pending on the application of ETL technology to the driver itself. Other international patents are pending. You can Google this for confirmation.

I will not send you a free sample to evaluate. However, if you or Curt need to evaluate the technology in an inexpensive product (perhaps as a Christmas gift to yourselves), the licensed Sharp DK-AP7N & DK-AP8N for the iPod® and iPhone® are available from Amazon and many other vendors for under $100. This little unit has an embedded woofer operating in an enclosure volume of approximately .007 cu. ft. and produces bass under 100Hz at personal listenable volumes with 2 watts of power. The midrange and highs are produced by speakers less than 2 inches in diameter without breakup or compression. The port diameter for the subwoofer is 7mm in diameter. This type of performance is unattainable with T/S parameters.

For the record, I am not directly affiliated with the company that owns ETL technology and not privy to all of the technical aspects; but if certain forum members want to purchase the product and hear for themselves that what I am saying really does exist, then follow this link: http://www.sharpusa.com/ForHome/Home...io/DKAP7N.aspx. Also, click on the review tab on this link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...etails#reviews.
