Hello,
With the new HDFury3 coming up, is there any source/scalar etc. that can do 1080p72 over HDMI? My first thought would be an HTPC, but since most graphic cards are DVI based, they go up to a maximum pixel clock of 165 MHz, which just covers 1080p60.
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Gerbrand

Are you thinking of older single link DVI? Almost any decent video card for for the last 3-4 years has been dual-link DVI and handles 2560x1600@60, which is almost a 250mhz pixel clock. Even my 3-year-old Mac notebook will drive a 2560x1600 display!
I would think 1080p@72 would be a breeze for practically any halfway recent mid-range video card.

I was not aware of the dual-link/single-link difference. I thought every DVI connection was limited to 165 MHz. Has anyone ever tried 1080p72 over HDMI using eg. a Moome? Are there any other sources that can do 1080p72?
