What cable can I use for this?? I find this PG really needs the remote aimed at it...maybe the batteries are low. Anyhow, if it's hushboxed, I think I might want the remote to be wired.

Remember when you use the cable to take the batteries out of the remote or it won't work with the cable...

?? Yes it will.
I've never taken the batteries out when using the cable (and yes the cable becomes active).

That is odd, I clearly recall having a remote not work with the batteries in, and have always just taken them out as a matter of course ???
I'll have to try that now....

I've only tried on an Xtra and XG, not an earlier PG.
