hi i have a problem whit getting the picture wide enoch on my barco g801s. a red light is on the horizontal output board but i swith the board and no change

There is a master width pot on the SMPS. Check the main site in the techinical area, and click on the Barco 800 section. I show a picture of where it is in that section.

I think both of my 801s have same dim red led on all the time. So I think it's ok.

That's correct, a dim red light on a Barco H board is fine.
