I think if i do manage to communicate with the panomaker and clear its memory loaded settings I intend to stay in the analogue area possibly a HTPC with a decent graphics card outputting to an extron DA feeding both input A and B vga connections using the pc to perform the scaling duties.
I really want to try and keep it as simple as possible, image quality at this point is not my priority, getting a reasonable viewable image through to both pj's is, I do believe I have a very steep learning curve ahead of me, and failure to achieve even that is a possibility

When the site was still up, the product info showed all products were limited in resolution, no 1080P vertical resolution being limited to 1024 or on some earlier models perhaps even less.

Hi Donaldk
Yes that is correct no 1080p, this was the last model in the range manufactured, if the unit was used on a single pj the maximum output would be 1280 X 1024 SXGA @ 96 TO 120 frames a second (stereoscopic), or outputting to two pj's the maximum output to the two would be 1280 X 1024 SXGA @ 48 TO 72 frames per second.

LOL, I wouldn't even consider that a limitation... I hope that you understand that correctly scaled Blu Rays don't even have 1080 active lines of information. But I guess the retailer propaganda is working...
