Hey guys!

Wow, I haven’t been here in a while. I just upgraded my Sony 1252 for a Barco 808! I must say it is freaking sweet! I think it logged over 30 hours this weekend alone!

Anyways, I need some advice. I keep having this messed up dream (or nightmare!). I see my 808 sitting on the ground in a white room. It’s a bit blurry at first. After it comes in to full focus, a plasma TV falls out of nowhere and cuts the projector in half like a guillotine. The plasma TV disappears and the projector burst in to flames. Then, I wake up.

Is this bad? I have had this exact same dream 3 times in the last 7 days. Am I going to die?

Thanks,

Yes your going to die, sometime, but I doubt it has anything to do with your guillotine dream. We all die sometime. Just lay off what ever your doing for a while.

Just a friendly tip from your uncle Dave Laughing

Dream, schmeme.

It's more like the lags of the CRT will come off, the BArco will fall and crush the plasma.

I like those kind of dreams. Smile

I have to admit, I have had some strange dreams, somewhat like this.

Back when I had a Marquee I used to have a dream where the mount would break, and I would find the Marquee smashed on the floor the next morning. I recall on more than one occasion I did venture down to the theater in the middle of the night (just to check) Embarassed Mr. Green

I also had some strange dreams about my G70 where the tubes would explode...

The only tech related dream I have had recently was one where I was on a mountain side with a Canon 5D something or other and some insanely expensive piece of glass, in the dream I tripped over something and watched the camera tumble down the mountain smashing into little bits, then I woke up feeling very depressed until I realized that I shot with a Nikon. Thumbs Up

Maybe I have a problem? Wink

Funny, I rarely have tech related dreams, at least I can only remember one. that was 20 years ago when I was struggling all day with a TV repair at the TV shop I worked at. I went home completely frustrated.

That night I dreamed of a different approach to the problem, and sure enough, I remembered the next morning to try it, and that was the problem. It's never happened since, but it sure was freaky the one time.
