Ok I understand now what your looking for, and it makes perfect sense. Do you think if something in the receiver is using the sub wire as an antenna that connecting the sub wire with its Ground connected to the receiver end would help minimize it? I remember having a similar issue on my one surround amp and i had the grounded end of the rca on the amps side and not the receivers side and changing them around reduced it to the point is was barely audible.

At this point any thing is a guess. I mean, even wrapping the sub wire in foil for the first few feet from the receiver may solve it. Remember people wrapping the antenna wires from their rabbit ears with foil? Laughing Or aren't you that old yet? Mr. Green

This happens in certain parts of Vancouver as well. We've installed a number of sound systems that picked up the multicultiural channel through the system. It all happens within about a 7 mile radius, not sure why, as the transmitter is far away from the location, but try all of the above ideas, plus isolatiing the subwoofer output with a transformer.

THe one school gym system we did ended up having to have shielded speaker wire installed from the amp to the speaker before it went away. Fortunately, for some reason, that's the wire we got from the supplier, and two hours into troubleshooting, I had the brilliant idea to connect the shield wire to the amp chassis ground. Presto bingo, the problem went away.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll try some and report back.
