Hello
A couple of years ago I sold a Barco 1209s with new rebuild VDC tubes.
Replaced the original C elements with colored C elements.
I set it up at his house and the projector was very sharp and focus was spot on.
Now he moved to a new house and I calibrate the projector again but now it's impossible to get even focus on the screen I don't have enough range with scheimpflug to get it right.
I put spacers between the lens and chassis to get a reasonable focus but now top and bottom is a little out of focus and the middle is sharp.
Yesterday I try to fasten the bolts on the back of the tube with the springs to see if they where to loose but that didn't help.
It's on all 3 tubes the same.
And yes the projector is square to the screen.
I don't understand what happened and how I can correct this.
Never seen this before.
Doe somebody know what's going on.
Rob

Hi Rob,
welcome to Curt's forum. I remember your site (http://httpd.chello.nl/~r.dingen/) from back 2001 or so. I think you were the first reseller I encountered in Europe.
Here's an archive link to your old place:

Are the cams on the Scheimpflug adjusters working ? I see no reason you should have to install spacers. Are you using the same throw distance, screen and lenses ?

Hi Tom.W
Yes the cams are working as I told before I don't have enough range to get it right.
