The slide style mounting is an excellent one.....
I have a Barco specific slide mount steel plate, came with one of my PJ's....
I just ordered 2 more more, I will post pictures when they arrive.

Ahhh you must be refering to the Jeep project. There was NOTHING left to weld to. I would have had to replace the entire floor including rockers and hump side to side. I'm stripping the Jeep and building it over again when I get a(mostly) rust free chassis.
Next project Ampro 4000G mounted on the roller cart we built with 0 deg offset and finaly mount my screen.
