I'd test port5 first, port3 might do some weird things sometimes. Syncs polarities shouldn't be problems since your source is VP and Fury doesn't chance sync polarities.

OK this gets worse 140 mile round trip and I'm not much further forwards.
Projector locks up fine to my laptop at all resolutions up to 1600x1200. I can't set the lap top to 1400x1080 but at least it proves there is not a maximum fequency limit.
Similarly I can dial in any internal frequency up to 135Khz and it locks fine and is stable.
I have placed an Extron RGB109 plus interface box on the output of the HDfury2 in case it was a + / - ve sync. This also allows me to input via put 5. but again it made no difference.
When I select 1080p from the lumagen the projector clicks as it it is going to the higher scan range (as it did with the laptop) but displays no picture and eventually displays "source not available"
I have changed the
H board
V board
Focus board
Port 3
Scan inversion board.
Absolutely convinced that I now have an issue with the lumagen or HD fury I brought it back home and tried it on my trusty Barco 919. Locks and displays perfectly. So this is definitely a projector issue.
The only boards I can even imagine now are
The controller (I do notice that one of the internal pattern custom settings has a corrupt line of text where it would normally have custom setting 4) and I would point the finger if had issues with the high res lap top
RGB switch card ?
RGB amplifier ?
Anybody have any other thoughts?

Did you had some source connected to Lumagen when you tried it with 1209s? Maybe there is some issues between source and Lumagen...

I have reproduced exactly the same situation here. I have brought back the clients blue ray play cables even the disk. The set-up is identical
It does not to seem to matter to the lumagen if a source is connect or not it still pushes out a sync.

Similar result here with BG801s and HDF2 @ 1080p.
Refuses to sync, I just get a screen full of garbage.
I'm using an Extron 202 RGBHV (feeding port 5).
Not the same PJ but hope this post helps jog somebody's brain.
