Does one exist?

I have a laptop (IBM R51) that I use as a remote music player, I use it over my network to access the music on my HTPC and play it back with windows media player currently. I would like to move to a frontend as I have an old Snapstream RF remote that I could use.

But I'd like the frontend to be music only. Media Center, Media Portal, etc are not what I'm looking for unless they can be stripped down to just a music player.

I would think they may have something like this for the car PC's but I'm not in sync with what is being used in that market right now.

Suggestions? I'm open to flavors of Linux.

Thanks Chadd,

That looks like a nice piece of software. I think I'll be off to search for a little touchscreen now. Smile
